20 Years of Reiki!

This month I’m celebrating 20 years of being a student of Reiki and 7 years as a teacher!

I was just a curious 22-year-old on that January morning in 2004, at the very beginning of my spiritual journey. It was only a few days before that initial spark of a course that I’d heard of Reiki for the first time. I never anticipated teaching or working with clients or writing a book about this beautiful energy. I had no idea that this would become the most fulfilling work of my life! I’ll forever be sitting at its feet and listening to its wisdom. Teaching Reiki is my soul’s sweetest calling and it has become such an integrated way of being alive. I wish I could kiss its cheeks sometimes.

Exactly 13 years and 10 days after I became a student of Reiki, I taught my first course. It has been such an incredible 7 years since then of sharing attunements, sitting together in circles, laughing, crying, holding, being, exploring, and deep soul-diving with so many absolutely wonderful humans. What a ride.
