Awaken Self-Healing.

Reiki 1 is called Shoden in Japanese, meaning the first teachings. This level awakens your innate healing abilities and serves as an activation to reconnect to your soul. Our focus is learning to heal the Self, cultivating compassion towards our emotions, clearing energy channels and finding our flow with the sacred energy of life. Tailored for beginners - whether you’ve never had a Reiki session before or have had many and read all the books - the course is designed to meet you wherever you are. Woven into the teachings are mindfulness and meditation practices, anchored with the embrace of nature. Reiki 1 is a transformative container to awaken to your True Self.

Although this step is really all about you coming back to your essence, the course will include practical sessions so you can feel comfortable working on friends, family, and any lucky pets straight away. This training is a very grounded spiritual experience which offers an abundance of practical tools you can use across your life for support with everything that being human entails.

I teach Reiki 1 in a unique hybrid way, offering the perfect blend of comprehensive in-person training with ongoing online support for diving deeper as you progress through your experience with the energy. You’ll attend one full day of live training for healing, practice, and attunement plus you’ll receive training in an online format so you can review the theory, meditate, and revisit the practical information whenever you need. This course includes a free membership to the Soul Fire Collective - a community of Reiki practitioners who are sharing the journey with you. You’ll receive immediate access to a growing meditation library, be invited to attend group mindfulness circles and will have beautiful support to lean on whenever you need. You’ll also be invited to regular community gatherings and Reiki Shares.

ACCREDITATION:

Our courses are accredited by the Complementary Medical Association. Brighitta is a Master/Teacher member of the UK Reiki Federation and the Shibumi International Reiki Association. She’s been teaching Reiki since 2016 and practicing since 2004.

LOCATION:

The live training days are held at Beechwood Hall, just outside of Lewes. The nearest station is Cooksbridge (a four-minute walk).

From Central London: 1-hour direct train from London Bridge or London Victoria. 40 minutes direct from East Croydon.
From Brighton: 15 minutes from Brighton station
From Gatwick Airport: 30 minutes direct train

Many of our students commute down from London for the day but if you’d like to make a retreat out of it, reach out and I can send you some ideas! Some of our students have stayed in off-grid shepherd huts or cute B&Bs in and around Lewes. There are many beautiful walks on the Downs, and the spectacular Cuckmere Haven beach with the glowing Seven Sisters is close by too.

For those driving from further afield, there is plenty of free parking at the venue.
